I realize rock stars have parents, but somehow I can't identify with a rock star's parents if that makes any sense. As I examined the pix, I couldn't help but think the parents seem almost "detached" from their star kids, or is that just my imagination? Let me know what you think.
In 1971, the likes of Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Elton John and the Jackson Five were some of the most famous celebrities in their world.
But for their parents, these ultra-famous rock stars were still only grown-up children, whom they doted on and fussed over.
