People Needed For Pre-Earth Day Beach Clean Up April 18th

After the latest storms and the windy weather, there is a lot of debris and garbage that has blown all over the place.

Earth day is coming soon and there are a lot of clean up projects being planned and some of the places that need help are the beaches and parts of Park Point.

If you are interested in cleaning up the Park Point area, a group of people is gathering at the Tot Lot and cleaning the beach together. The Tot Lot is the first beach entrance after the bridge.

Clean Beach Collective and anyone else who wants to help is invited to meet at 5:30 pm and spend an hour cleaning. Post clean up the group will then head over to the Roasteria at the Duluth Coffee Company for a drink.

People are asked to bring your own gloves, and bags (preferable re-usable non-plastic bags) to collect garbage that can be dumped into the trash cans once the group is done.
