Spring is just around the corner, and that means warmer weather, blooming flowers and of course PEEPS.

Keep your eyes open, PEEPS will be hitting store shelves any day now, if they aren't already there, and you may notice that they've added two new flavors this year, PEEPS HOT TAMALES and PEEPS Froot Loops pops.

I'm on board for the Froot Loops PEEPS, but the HOT TAMALES flavor sounds a little too much for me, a spicy cinnamon sugar coated Marshmello sounds like an Easter nightmare.

The two new flavors join other returning flavors like, Cotton Candy, Party Cake, Sour Watermelon, Fruit Punch, Root Beer, and Chocolate Pudding. Some retailers will have exclusive flavors this year including Blue Raspberry Flavored Marshmallow Chicks at Walmart, Target will feature plain raspberry flavor and Chocolate Caramel Swirl Filled Marshmallow Chicks Dipped in Chocolate...oh, you fancy huh?

PEEPS says it is also partnering with "another adorable retailer" for the Easter season, they say that announcement will come later this month. A stuffed PEEP at Build-a-Bear?

PEEPS is the number one non-chocolate Easter candy, and they've been around for nearly 70 years turning out the chick shaped marshmallow treats. Each Easter over 1.5 billion PEEPS are consumed worldwide, each year enough PEEPS are made to encircle the Earth three times. The classic yellow PEEP chicks are still the most popular year after year.
