Have you driven past this historic brick building at 2229 West 2nd Street in West Duluth  and wondered what it was?  You may have seen the sign and knew it was the Duluth Art Institute but not sure what they do there.  I'm glad you're here, Dana shares info about the history of the building, what artists do within the building's brick walls and how your family can benefit from classes and events they hold.

Originally I visited the Duluth Art Institute to talk about their involvement with Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank's Empty Bowl event.  But, after seeing the building and talking with some of the artists making pottery while I was there, I knew I needed to find out more.

Some art examples from the Duluth Art Institute Gallery at the Depot, 506 West Michigan Street.
