Joe Walsh was born in one of my old stomping grounds, Wichita Kansas. I'm sure you've heard of Joe when he played with the James Gang. He also played with the Eagles, in fact he made his debut on Hotel California which is as good a place as any to start right?

Joe is an colorful dude to put it mildly. He ran for President in 1979, and years later Vice President. His introduction to music was  not with a guitar, but an oboe and clarinet. Bass and rhythm came later.  He grew up in one of my old stomping grounds, Wichita Kansas, and played with the G-Clefs for a time before he attended Kent State. It was there he learned how to play six string, and played in pick up bands over the next several years before joining the James Gang.

Joe continued to record solo while with both the James Gang and Eagles, and after departing the Eagles, he toured with Ringo's All Star band. Joe later reunited with the Eagles for their "Hell Freezes Over" tour, then remained a solo act up to the present.

His "One Day At A Time" single is off the  "Analog Man" album where he pokes fun at himself as he tries to adjust to the technical advances of today's society.
