Police, Fire Dept, Play Softball For Northern Lights Foundation

Join the Northern Lights Foundation, The Duluth Police Department and The Duluth Fire Department for the 11th Annual Guns & Hoses Softball Game on Thursday, August 9th

The event goes from 5-9pm. With the incredible support of The Duluth Huskies and Wade Stadium it’s a family-friendly softball game for the community while raising funds for The Northern Lights Foundation helping local children and their families facing life-threatening illnesses. Enjoy live police and fire demos and displays, fun interactive games, great raffles and concessions!

The event will feature the K-9 unit, and emergency vehicles. There will also be food and beverages from the Duluth Huskies with the net profit going to the Northern Lights Foundation. There will be t-shirts and eyeblacks again this year.

The Northern Lights Foundation raises money for kids and families of kids who are diagnosed with terminal or life threatening medical conditions and grants wishes and distribute funds that address the needs and wishes of the kids. Sometimes it's for fun, sometimes just to take care of the gas bill for driving to get treatment.
