New First Come First Served Registration For Grandma’s Marathon Opens This Sunday

At 5:00 p.m. this Sunday, October 1st, the registration will open for one of the top 5 Marathons in the country. The 2018 Grandma's Marathon, Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, and William Irvin 5k open and this is the first year with a first come first served policy in place, so the race could fill up fast.

After hearing opinions of runners and listening to other race officials from around the country, the Grandma's Marathon franchise decided to change the way they allowed people to sign up and went to the new system. They said this will allow for groups and friends to get into the race instead of letting fate pick their future.

Grandma’s Marathon weekend in 2018 is set for June 15 – June 16.
