I'll admit it - I've always been fascinated by weather.  Living in our area - with it's aggressive seasons - it's probably hard not to be.

Have you ever thought about getting involved with the National Weather Service's Skywarn Spotters program?  The group of trained individuals are directly-responsible for helping to forecast and communicate what's going on with the weather in our area.  By canvassing across the region, these witnesses alert the weather bureau in Duluth with temperatures, precipitation amounts, wind speeds, barometer readings, and severe storm information.

If this interests you, the National Weather Service is getting ready to start a spring training roundup - with a variety of dates and locations to get established.  According to their Facebook page and website, these sessions are set to start March 29, with a variety of dates into May.
