You will still go to the MSHSL website to purchase tickets for the league's postseason events and tournaments. HomeTown Ticketing is also being offered to MSHSL member schools at no cost. They can host the ticket sales directly on the schools' websites.

It was made clear in the MSHSL guidelines for indoor sports that online ticketing and registration would be required for anyone allowed to attend an activity. This way they can better trace and inform people if a COVID-19 exposure would occur at an event. Indoor capacities are limited for sporting events, and activities.

The deal with HomeTown Ticketing and the Minnesota State High School League is for 3 years with an option to extend the agreement for another 2 years.

HomeTown ticketing is a digital ticket provider in K-12 and collegiate venues. They say that the can tailor their services specifically to schools and governing bodies, and provide an easy to purchase experience for fans. HomeTown says they never touch the organizer's funds which are always available and accessible by the school.
