Monkees Lead Singer Davy Jones Dead at 66

A representative has confirmed that Davy Jones, the 66 year old lead singer of the Monkees has died of a heart attack in Florida.

Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and 4 daughters from previous marriages. Jones joined the Monkees in 1965 and along with Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork became a sensation that included multiple hit records and a hit TV show.
