There's a lot of folks in Minnesota who are facing lost wages or reduced hours due to the coronavirus. The Minnesota Unemployment Insurance website posted an update urging people to apply for insurance sooner than later.

The Unemployment Insurance program is ready to assist workers who can’t work, workers who have had their hours reduced, and workers who have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

You are asked to apply either online or over the phone. After you apply they will let you know if you are eligible. If you have questions regarding the program you can speak with a customer representative Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM.
