In the long run, we could have a Miss America come from our neck of the woods, she has a great platform to share too.

Madison Reynolds came in to the KOOL morning show and we talked about her platform, project choice. She has also combined some things that I hold near to my heart. First of all, Project choice, which enshures that all children have access to healthy foods, fostering a love for exercise and an active lifestyle, and teaching kids to make conscious choices.

She has achieved those objectives by working with Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, where she volunteers, is a #GiveHealthy Ambassador and organizes her own food drives.

Madison is a published author of the children’s book “Choosy Suzy and Lazy Larry”. All net proceeds from the sales of her book are donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Which I am impressed with right there.

Madison also has partnered with the Young Atheletes Foundation, something that came out of her internship with Grandma's Marathon.

She will be competing on the same day as Grandma's Marathon so we will have to wait to see how she does. Until then watch the video and visit her on the web.
