Minnesota Twins Announce First-Ever Drone Night

Each baseball season the Minnesota Twins have lots of cool giveaways before games and special events as well. They've released their schedule for the 2023 season and one of the events looks especially cool: the Drone Night.

This is the first time they've ever had Drone Night at Target Field. We'll get into more details about that specific event in a moment. First, let's talk about the giveaways and other events that will be at Target Field this season.

Drone Night at Target Field

The first-ever Drone Night will take place after the game on Friday, August 18th. The MLB's website says that "fans will be invited to sit on the outfield grass after the game and watch as more than 200 drones flying in formation light up the night sky in a dazzling display." It would look sort of like the photo above. That photo is from a drone show in Brazil.

It sounds like such a really cool show to see in person! I've seen drone shows in videos before but never in person, so I might have to check this out this summer.
