Minnesota Kids Could Become Part Of The Super Bowl Festival By Creating A Super Snack
Kids are encouraged to eat better and use healthy snacking habits. Here's a way that kids can help kids. If your kid is between the ages of 8 and 14, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee Legacy Fund invites you to submit your child’s healthy snack recipe as part of Super Snack Challenge! 52 winning snacks will be chosen to attend a Super Snack Challenge Kids Tailgate Party during a 10-day Super Bowl LII festival at the Super Bowl. 3 Snacks will be crowned Super Snack Challenge Winners.
Children are invited to step outside of their comfort zone and come up with something original. Maybe it has two veggies and a fruit or two fruits and a veggie, maybe just fruit! According to the MINNESOTA SUPER BOWL HOST COMMITTEE LEGACY FUND SUPER SNACK CHALLENGE SUPPORTED BY NEWMAN'S OWN FOUNDATION website, you must submit your child’s Super Snack recipe by October 16, 2017. Submissions are judged on the following criteria:
- How healthy your Super Snack is for you
- How easy it is to make
- How creative your recipe is
- How yummy it is to eat
Make sure to check out the complete Rules for Entry before entering the contest.
