If you're looking for a potential deal on a wide variety of outdoor equipment and more, then save the date in September and head to Grand Rapids for the Minnesota DNR auction.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has announced that it will hold a public auction of surplus equipment on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 9:30 a.m.  The auction will take place at the DNR northeast regional office, located at 1201 East Highway 2 in Grand Rapids.

According to the DNR, more than 100 items will be sold including:

  • Automobiles
  • Trucks
  • ATVs
  • Snowmobiles
  • A tractor
  • A skid steer
  • Boat packages
  • Outboard motors
  • Boats
  • Trailers
  • Mowers
  • Power tools
  • Tractor implements

There could also potentially be dump trucks and other heavy equipment from other agencies.

Bidders are encouraged to preregister for the auction ahead of time to avoid standing in line on auction day.   On-site inspection of items will be available only on the day of the auction from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
