A tribute show to one of the most-enduring musical acts of the 1970's is coming to Duluth Entertainment Convention Center for an evening performance you'll want to see. MANIA-The ABBA Tribute will be at the DECC's Symphony on Friday, October 20.

"Close your eyes and it could have been ABBA". That's the quote from Sky News about the show that originates from London's West End. And the organizers promise an evening you won't forget.

According to the DECC, MANIA-The ABBA Tribute is "an exhilarating two hour recreation of one of ABBA's most memorable concerts". The tribute performance "brings to life the flamboyance of the '70's." And the performance comes at the right time - with interest in ABBA greater than ever, following the film "Mama Mia" and the avatar-centric concert experience from the last year or so.

Not only will you get to hear the music that made ABBA one of the most popular groups in the world at this tribute show, but there's the total experience; staging, lights, costumes - everything that made the Swedish band so iconic.

MANIA's previous tours have been largely successful - selling "an impressive 50,000 tickets, visiting 18 states". At every stop, its drew highly-positive reviews, with both ABBA fans and general music fans excited about the show.

Presale tickets for the show start at the DECC on Wednesday, April 12 - at 10:00 AM, lasting until 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 13. Code word to use for this presale event is "WATERLOO".

General tickets go on sale starting 10:00 AM on Friday, April 14. Look for complete ticketing and full details at Ticketmaster.org or at DECC.org.
