Mall Of America, Nickelodeon Universe To Close Through March

The Mall Of America is the latest major Minnesota attraction to announce they will close temporarily amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The closure was announced on social media early Tuesday (March 17th), with the Mall Of America sharing the following statement:

As mentioned, the mall will shut its doors beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday evening.

The closure also includes Nickelodeon Universe. Guest passes that are valid for a year will be extended, making up for the closure. Wristbands with "valid date of first use" that haven't been used will be honored, also making up for the dates the park will be closed. The Mall Of America has not listed a reopening date. According to their statement, they will be closed through "at least" March. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
