Learn The Science Behind The Twin Ports Recent Beer Brewing Fad

If it seems like a new brewery is opening up every day in the Northland that's because there is truth behind it. And, there's good reason.  Allyson Rolph - the Head Brewer at Thirsty Pagan  Brewery shares the science and the ecology behind it during a special presentation called Lake Superior On Tap - Tuesday, May 16, 6:00 PM, at the Superior Public Library.

Simple science says that beer is roughly 95% water.  Therefore it only stands to reason that good water will create a better glass of beer.

Rolph will talk about what makes the Twin Ports/Lake Superior area special to brewers and how the particulars of the region impact the flavors in the pints created here.
