Hundreds of Northlanders turned out Saturday night for the Fourth Annual "Show In The Snow" at the village auditorium in Lake Nebagamon. One of the cool things about the show was the varied types of music.

The shows promoter Xavier Bell, made it a point to have great artists playing different types of music, and he hit a home run. "We have so much talent here in the Northland and they don't get the exposure they deserve"  he told me. Xavier, although very busy with Bell Boys Music, is always looking for new talent, and unique ways to promote them. Xavier donated a huge portion of the events proceeds to the Imogene McGrath Memorial Library, and I was privileged to emcee the show.

"Show In The Snow" started early, and ran an hour longer than scheduled. It was non stop music, kicked off with punk rockers "Ultra Day" followed by Oliver Hannrahann. Northland favorite John Keopp, and "Autumn of 81." sang their hearts out. New this year, was a rap artist from California named "Rocca" who led us to headliners "Bell Boys Music" and they really cranked it up and left the crowd asking for more..

Over five hours of music for only five bucks! I think  Xavier Bell is on to something here, top flight entertainment that everyone can afford. I can hardly wait for next years show, and I hope to see you there.
