Kanye West Submits Paperwork in Minnesota for Presidential Ballot
Kanye West continues his campaign to be president and he took a step today to get his name added to the Minnesota ballot.
The Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office confirmed to the Star Tribune that West's representatives filed the necessary paperwork and signatures to be considered for the ballot.
The deadline to submit paperwork was yesterday, Tuesday, September 18th, and election officials will review all the submissions and finalize the ballot before the end of the month.
To date, Kayne has qualified for the ballot in Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah, Vermont, and is pending in Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, and West Virginia. West missed the deadline to qualify for the ballot in 24 states, but could still be a write-in candidate.
Kayne has gotten a handful of celebrity endorsements including Elon Musk, 2 Chainz, DaBaby, and his wife Kim Kardashian. And of course, West has endorsed and been a long time Trump supporter.
