Journey Drummer Arrested for Assault of Girlfriend

Deen Castronovo, the current drummer for Journey, was picked up this past weekend on assault charges based on an alleged altercastion between he and his girlfriend.

The arrest, taking place in Oregon, was based on charges of coercion, assault, harassment, and criminal mischief, among other things.

A representative for the Journey drummer tells TMZ "It was just a misunderstanding that should not have been escalated to such a level in the first place."
