John Fogerty joined country star Miranda Lambert and her girl-group side project, the Pistol Annies onstage at the House of Blues in Los Angeles last night (Dec. 8th) for a rousing run-through of the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic ‘Bad Moon Rising.’

Looking spry and definitely having fun, Fogerty kicked off the tune by strumming the tell-tale opening chords on an acoustic guitar, instantly sending the crowd of the intimate club into a frenzy. He handled vocals on the first verse, before Lambert and her bandmates Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe joined for the chorus.

“I’ve got the best seat in the house!” he called out before launching into the guitar solo, referring to his position in between two of the lovely Pistol ladies.

Earlier in the show, Lambert dropped a hint about the surprise to come. “I don’t mean to brag,” the country star said during the introduction to her song ‘Dear Diamond.’ “But [John] texted me and told me this is one of his favorites.”
