This is amazing! Actress Jessica Lange is giving Duluth and Minnesota some love in a new interview with Rolling Stone.

The celebrity, who famously hails from the Northland, did an interview with the magazine this month to promote her new Netflix show 'The Politician' and let's just say, we LOVE her answers.

The actress had her home state on her mind during the course of her Q&A interview! The first time she mentioned Minnesota was when the interviewer asked her what the most 'Minnesota' thing about her was, after mentioning the fact that she hails from Northern Minnesota. Here's what she had to say:

I have a real connection to the natural world, which feels like a very Minnesota thing to me. For the past 35 years, I’ve had a cabin up in the North Woods, and there’s something so healing about that place. What’s that great quote from [the writer and photographer] Juan Rulfo? “There you’ll find the place I love most in the world. The place where I grew thin from dreaming.” That’s Minnesota to me.

Wow! And as if that isn't awesome enough, the question was followed up with the interviewer asking her what her favorite city is and why. She named a few but apparently saved the best for last. Here's how she rounded out her answer to the question:

And Duluth, Minnesota, because it’s home. Shout-out to Duluth!

This is one of the coolest things ever! In case you didn't know, Lange grew up in Cloquet.

Of course, she isn't the only famous face from our neck of the woods. An A+ list movie star, an Emmy-nominated television star and someone from my favorite show all hail from Minnesota, too. It must be something in the water!
