Jerry Lee Lewis Marries For The 7th Time; This Time To His Cousin’s Ex-Wife
Serial husband Jerry Lee Lewis is at it again; He's married for the seventh time. And - like many of his previous marriages, this one also blurs the lines of the family tree.
The Adams County circuit clerk’s office says the marriage license shows Lewis was married March 9 to Judith Ann Coghlan Brown in Natchez, Miss.
Carolyn Coghlan Gremillion of Madison is the bride’s sister. Gremillion told The Associated Press on Friday that the 61-year-old bride was previously married to one of Lewis’ cousins and was close to his daughter, Phoebe Lewis. She says Brown started working for Lewis several years ago as his caretaker.
This marriage also has ties to the ceremony that united Jerry Lee with his cousin.
Judith Brown was previously married to Lewis’ cousin Rusty.
Rusty’s older sister, Myra Gale Brown, married Lewis in 1957 when she was 13.
