And now we can add another name to a top-tier list: Brit's Pub in Minneapolis, which just made Yelp's 2026 list of the Top 100 Sports Bars in the country.

According to Yelp, the establishments on this list all have multiple TV screens, bold menus, and passionate crowds for every match and major sport. They offer elevated pub food, along with a variety of men’s and women’s sports, and soccer-first viewing experiences with immersive fan atmospheres, and as the 2026 FIFA World Cup gets underway, these spots are the best places in the U.S. to cheer on your team, Yelp says.

Rooftop Lawn Bowling and British Pub Charm in Downtown MN

So it totally makes sense that Brit's Pub, located on the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, is ranked 18th on the 2026 Yelp 100 Best Sports Bars list. It has a 3.8-star rating (out of 5) based on over 970 reviews. According to its website:

For over thirty years, Brit's Pub has been Minneapolis's own little corner of the UK. The pub is known for nights by the fireplaces in the winter and lawn bowling on the rooftop deck in the summer - with a whole lot in between, including legendary TV football (soccer!) and rugby events.

According to Ted G., a Yelp reviewer from Raleigh, North Carolina, Brits more than makes the cut on this year's Top100 Sports Bars list, noting that 'this two-story British pub packs more personality than a London double-decker. With bars on every floor and an outdoor patio that feels like half the city decided to pop 'round, it's the kind of place where "just one pint" turns into a full-blown social expedition,' his review said.

How Minnesota Compares to Wisconsin and Iowa Sports Bars

Meanwhile, behind the Cheddar Curtain over in Wisconsin, America's Dairyland placed two establishments on the Yelp Top 100 Sports Bars list:  The Highbury, (which came in at #95) and the Old German Beer Hall (which is ranked #96), both of which are located in Milwaukee. Iowa only had one entry on the list this year, Cafe Beaudelaire, which is located in Ames.
