Minnesota Named a Top Live Music State — See the Biggest Concerts Coming in 2026
Minnesota has always had a strong music scene, but just HOW strong, that might surprise you. At least it surprised me and I'm over here giving away tickets to all these concerts.
A new study was just released putting one city in the state shockingly high. I'm talking higher than Music City itself - yes, Nashville didn't even make the top 10, but we sure did.
In fact, the only cities ahead of us? Las Vegas and Atlanta. Isn't that insane?

The study was done by Spin Genie and they looked at music venues, music-related jobs, and upcoming concerts per 100,000 people to figure out which U.S. cities are truly music hotspots. Minneapolis landed near the very top, beating out dozens of major markets across the country.
I did a little research to see who is all making a pitstop in the land of 10,000 Lakes this year, and talk about a stellar lineup. (Keep scrolling to see the biggest names showing up in Minnesota this year)
If anything, the timing of this ranking feels perfect, knowing that a brand new outdoor amphitheater is opening in the cities this summer! Not just any amphitheater, a 19,000-seat outdoor venue, the first large-scale outdoor amphitheater in the Twin Cities.
We actually recently talked about Chris Stapleton being the first country act announced for the new venue. He actually has two shows lined up there.
Which brings us to the fun part. Let’s get into the biggest artists and concerts hitting Minnesota so far this year.
