Looks Like the Newest St. Cloud Car Wash Will Open Soon

I know you are all ready for a new car wash to open in the St. Cloud area.  Well, we have all been watching the construction on the East Side of St. Cloud, across from Target.  This location is the former Burger King that closed several years ago.

The Burger King building sat empty with the sign covered for a few years.  There were so many questions regarding what type of business would be there instead of a fast food restaurant.  We did learn that it would be another car wash.

Cue the complaints/comments about how many car washes have been built in the last couple of years.  But look at it this way, if you need to wash your car and there is a huge line at the one you are at, there are plenty of other options to get that job done.  So, can we call that a win?  Plus, there really aren't a ton of that type of car washes on the East side of town.

Mister Car Wash has had a location on Division Street for quite a few years, and recently added a Sartell location.  Now, there will be an East Side Location added and opening soon.  Within the last week the sign was added to the building, but there is still quite a bit of work to be done for the finishing touches on this location.  But, it looks to be able to tentatively open within the next few weeks.  Just in time for Summer.  Even though it feels like we only had 3 seasons this year, Summer is still on the way.
