It's the seventh year that Anoka is hosting its food truck festival and this year the weather looks FANTASTIC for anyone heading to enjoy the great eats, and beverages offered this year. In addition to the 50+ food trucks expected to attend, there will also be live music for folks to enjoy. Here's what we know so far about this weekend's festival:

According to the MN Food Truck Festival website:  One of the Twin Cities' most popular & delicious free events – The Anoka Food Truck Festival– will invade Downtown Anoka for its 7th year on Saturday, August 17th.

It runs from 11am to 9pm and will be in downtown Anoka. According to the website, you'll find all the action "on Jackson Street and 2nd Ave." But if you are heading to Anoka from Central Minnesota you should use this address for your GPS, 2015 S 1st Ave, Anoka, MN 55303.

What food trucks will be at the festival?

The MN Food Truck Festival website has all of the 50 trucks that are expected to be at the festival, but here are some that I am most excited to see;

What does it cost?

Nothing it's free!

Can I bring my dog?

The event is labeled as being 4-legged friendly, just make sure your dog is leashed, and of course, well-behaved.

I know every truck produces some excellent food, so if you go, keep an open mind and try something new, you might find that you really enjoy it!
