Minnesota’s Own Cori Kennedy To Play Freedom Fest In July
Freedom Fest made another announcement today, and it had to do with who will be playing on Saturday, July 18th. Minnesota's own, Cori Kennedy, will own the side stage on Saturday, performing between acts.
From Kasson, Minnesota to Nashville, TN
Kennedy, who rose to fame by performing on The Voice during season 28, was eliminated in the November 17th episode. Kennedy's performance on the show sparked national attention for the singer, who admitted to only starting after her college softball career was over.
Kennedy comes from Kasson, which is located not far from Rochester, and is excited to be back performing in Minnesota.

After her time on the show, Kennedy and her fiancé decided to push all their chips in and move to Nashville, and according to Kennedy, so far it's worked out well.
