Quaint Minnesota Town Ranked #1 For Best Main Street Shopping in the State
These days, it feels like you can find a strip mall, or big box store in just about every medium-sized town in the U.S. However, Main Street shopping is making a comeback in a big way.
Buying a gift in your local downtown is just a little more special than going to your local megamall or shopping online. And one quaint town in the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes has been singled out for the best Main Street Shopping in the Entire State.
The National Publication, Cheapism recently compiled its list of the best Main Street shopping in each U.S. State, and the town it chose for Minnesota should be no surprise.
The Twin Cities suburb of Stillwater was listed as the town with the absolute best downtown shopping in the state.
One look at the town's website will show you just how much it has to offer. There you can find over 50 independent owner-operated stores, antique shops, vintage furniture stores, home decor shops, and even culinary specialty stores.
