When it comes to motorcycle runs there are always plenty going on during our limited riding season up north.  Some are just because a riding group wants to have one, and others are to help raise money for someone in need or a particular cause.

An upcoming run on Saturday, August 17th is called the Scotty Run.  It directly benefits veterans so it's for a great cause and has so much more than just a ride going on.

The Scotty Run starts and finishes at the Gas-Lite Bar & Grill in Ellsworth, Wisconsin with registration at 9:30am and kickstands up at 11:00am.  It's only $20 per person to be a part of helping veterans and following the ride there will be a live and silent auction, free tent camping, and live music from Wicked Garden.

The organization benefiting veterans where the proceeds will be going to is 1st H.O.O.A.H MN.  They are committed to building relationships and identifying and supporting immediate and long-term needs of veterans and their families.

You can check out some of the great auction items and get more information on this ride to benefit our heroes on their official Facebook page.  As someone who has spent many nights camping on the grounds of the Gas-Lite Bar & Grill, you won't want to miss this ride and party that is all for a good cause.
