Food, Deals, Music, And Fun! Downtown Duluth Sidewalk Days 2024 Schedule

The annual summertime Downtown Duluth tradition returns this week as Sidewalk Days 2024 gets going on Wednesday, July 10 through the end of the week.

The festival-like atmosphere offers great food from food trucks, shopping deals from vendors and downtown retailers, live music, and lots of other fun with something going on Wednesday through Saturday.

This year's Sidewalk Days spans along the Downtown Duluth stretch of Superior Street, going from Fifth Avenue West to First Avenue East. Over 100 vendors offering food, beverages, shopping and more are part of this year's fun.

Here are some of the highlights for each day:

Wednesday, July 10

Vendors will be offering their wares from 10 am to 4 pm along Superior Street.

Local band Indecent Proposal will be performing from 10 am to 1 pm at "Power Up the Plaza" on the Minnesota Power Plaza, located at the intersection of Superior Street and Lake Avenue.

The annual YMCA Sidewalk Shuffle 5K starts at noon.

The Kolar Classic Car Show will span from Fifth Avenue West all the way down to Third Avenue East from 5 pm to 8 pm, with more live music from Indecent Proposal during the car show.

Thursday, July 11

Vendors will once again be serving up great food, beverages, and deals from 10 am to 6 pm, with a special "happy hour" event to end the day.

Sidewalk Days Happy Hour runs from 4 pm to 6 pm on Thursday, with many Downtown Duluth beverage destinations offering discounts on happy hour beverages. Included businesses include places like Blacklist, Dubh Linn, Lyric,  Duluth Coffee Company, Pizza Luce, and R.T. Quinlans. Friday, July 12

The final day of Sidewalk Days vendor shopping and food runs from 10 am to 3 pm, but that isn't the end to the week of fun!

Downtown Duluth's Movies in the Park happens Friday night, with a showing of Barbie at 9 pm at Leif Erikson Park. These movies are free to attend - just bring a blanket or chair to sit on!

Saturday, July 13

Get ready to dance the night away with the Dubh Linn Street Dance, capping off the 2024 Duluth Sidewalk Days. Lamont Cranston Band plays starting at 9 pm outside, and Indecent Proposal wraps the night up inside Dubh Linn starting at 11 pm all the way to 2 am.
