Just days after the news Apricot Lane would be leaving the Miller Hill Mall, we already know who will be filling the vacancy being left behind.

Apricot Lane plans to depart the mall for a different Twin Ports location by August 23, but the space won't stay open very long. Our news partners at WDIO report a sister company to the gift store Hot Topic will be moving into the space this fall.

The company set to move into the space is a pop culture gift store called BoxLunch, which specializes in a variety of officially licensed toys and collectibles, attire, and other items. Some of the brands available include Funko Pop!, Star Wars, Disney, Pokemon, and many others. In addition to being a place to buy fun gifts and other items, the retailer also supports a great cause as part of their company mission.

This expansion northward will add to two other Minnesota locations, both in the Twin Cities area. One is at the Mall of America, and the other is at Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka.

As explained on the company's website, for every $10 spent at the store, BoxLunch will donate a meal through Feeding America on behalf of local food banks. In addition, they give customers the opportunity to round up on your purchase or donate to the cause.

While there is no exact date for their opening right now, the retailer plans to be open by "late fall" in the Miller Hill Mall location next to Victoria's Secret, across the hallway from Bath & Body Works. This also puts them within eyesight of their sister store, Hot Topic, also operating at the Miller Hill Mall.
