Kirk Cousins Steals the Spotlight with Viral Dance to ‘Pony’
We already know that Vikings QB Kirk Cousins isn't afraid to drop some dad dance moves from time to time, but this viral moment from the NFL Honors show is over the top!
Cousins and Saints star defensive end Cam Jordan made an appearance on the NFL Honors show last night and went full 'Magic Mike' with a dance routine to Ginuwine's 1996 hit 'Pony,' that has the internet crushing the share button today.
Just over 100 days ago, the 36-year-old Cousins tore his Achilles when the Vikings were playing the Green Bay Packers in October. Judging by his dance moves, I would guess that his recovery is going good, and depending on what the Vikings decide to do with the free-agent QB, it looks like he will be ready to roll for next season.
Last year, Cousins made another memorable appearance at the NFL Honors show by singing a verse of Kelly Clarkson's hit 'Since You've Been Gone' to Tom Brady while wearing a neck full of gold chains.
Cousins is due a new contract, and he has expressed plenty of interest of sticking with the Vikings and not necessarily chasing another big pay day, telling ESPN, "I think that God has blessed me financially beyond my wildest dreams. So at this stage in my career, the dollars are really not what it's about."
The NFL Honors were live in Las Vegas Thursday night, home of this year's Super Bowl, Kirk's dance moves weren't the only surprise of the evening, Prince Harry made an appearance just hours after returning from visiting his dad, King Charles, after his cancer diagnosis.
