Just a couple of short weeks after a wildly successful 2025 event, Minnesota's largest air show is starting to announce details for its 2026 show.

The Duluth Airshow celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025, doing so as part of the 4th of July Weekend. Held on July 5 and 6, the 2025 show also marked the first sellout in the event's history.

After spectators enjoyed the 2025 event in droves, watching the likes of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, U.S. Navy Leapfrogs and U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute teams, U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor, Navy's F-35C flight demos, and the headlining U.S. Navy Blue Angels, we now know some details for next year's event.

In a thank you message to fans on social media, the Duluth Airshow looked back at 2025, but also looked ahead to 2026. In that thank you note, they made a couple of announcements for next year, so you can mark your calendars and make plans to come back!

The first of the two announcements is when the 2026 Duluth Airshow will be. While the event moves around the calendar from year to year, the 2026 Duluth Airshow will once again be in July. The 2026 event will be on July 11 and 12, 2026, the weekend after the 4th of July.

The other announcement organizers shared is who will be headlining the 2026 event. If you're a fan, you know that the headliners tend to rotate between the Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds. That trend continues next year, as the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will return to Duluth as the headlining aerial performance for 2026!

With just under a year before the next Duluth Airshow, you can expect a number of additional announcements as more aerial acts and ground displays are shared. We'll keep you posted on them as those announcements are made!

In the meantime, relive the historic 2025 Duluth Airshow through some photos from the event!
