Johnny and Baby are returning to the big screen in Duluth as 'Dirty Dancing' celebrates its 35th anniversary.

Released in the summer of 1987, 'Dirty Dancing' starred Patrick Swayze as dance instructor Johnny Castle and Jennifer Grey as the vacationing Frances "Baby" Houseman, the movie not only went on to become a classic, but it came with one of the most iconic soundtracks in movie history which included several hits, including the banger '(I've Had) The Time of My Life' by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, and that won an OSCAR for Best Original Song. And of course, it had the iconic line, "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner".

Now you have a chance to see 'Dirty Dancing' on the big screen in Duluth for two nights only, Sunday, August 14th, and Wednesday, August 17th. Both the Duluth 10 Theatre and the Lakes 10 Theatre will have showings at 7 PM on each of those nights. Tickets are $13.43 and you can lock them down here

'Dirty Dancing' had a budget of $4.5 million and went on to earn an astounding $214,577,242 at the worldwide box office, and that number will continue to grow as the movie remains popular enough to be re-released every five years, the last time it was out in theatres was in 2019 for the 30th anniversary.

Regarding the famous "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner" line from the final scene of the movie, Patrick Swayze in an interview with the American Film Institute said that he was "going to do everything in my power to get that line cut", thankfully he said it and the rest is cinema history.
