The Bentleyville "Tour Of Lights" will open for the 2022 season on Saturday, November 19, when Santa himself skydives into the popular attraction at 4:55 p.m. It's a great Northland holiday tradition and one that has earned national recognition.

Even though they're not yet open to the public, USA TODAY has already nominated Bentleyville for "Best Holiday Light Display" in their 10Best Readers' Choice contest. Now, it's up to public voting to get them through to the finish line.

According to USA TODAY, their contributors and editors combed the nation for "the 20 best, brightest, and most beautiful holiday light shows put on by neighborhoods, cities, and parks."

Bentleyville "Tour Of Lights" made their initial top 20 and here's what they had to say about the festive attraction:

Bentlleyville "Tour of Lights," America’s largest free walk-through lights display, invites visitors to walk amid more than five million lights spread across a 20-acre park on the shores of Lake Superior. Guests can get their photo taken with Rudolph, visit with Santa and enjoy free cocoa, cookies, roasted marshmallows and popcorn.

  2. Bentleyville "Tour of Lights" - Duluth, Minnesota
  3. Lights on Jeater Bend - Celebration, Florida
  4. The Legendary Lights of Historic Clifton Mill - Clifton, Ohio
  5. Holiday in Paradise - West Palm Beach, Florida

You can vote now to help Bentleyville rise to #1 on the list. You're allowed to vote once per day until polls close on Monday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. CST.

The top 10 winning light displays, as determined by public voting, will be announced on Friday, December 16.
