Taste Of Hermantown – Sample Local Eateries + Raise Money For Legacy Fund
There's a fundraiser happening this week in Hermantown, Minnesota. The annual Taste Of Hermantown is back. It's an event that's held at the ADD Shrine Center that showcases some of the area's restaurants and their finest foods.
The 2023 Taste Of Hermantown takes place on October 26, 2023. Tickets are available at the door for $20, or you can get them in advance for $15 by contacting a board member or by visiting the GIVEMN website.
It's described as a night of tasty food from restaurants and eateries from Hermantown and surrounding areas. Drinks and cocktails will be served from the cash bar. There also will be a silent auction. Children are welcome as well, with kids under 10 getting in free.
Proceeds from the event go to the Hermantown Legacy Fund. The fund previously was called the Hermantown Community Fund but changed names years ago. The fund serves the same purpose: to help charities and organizations in the Hermantown Community.
The fund also helped grow the Hermantown community. In fact, the community fund was a reason why Hermantown transitioned from a township to a city in 1976. Money raised during the event goes back to the community and helps strengthen Hermantown.
