New Social House Location Opens In Canal Park

It has been a month filled with food-related announcements and now we have another one: the new Social House location is officially open in Canal Park! The popular restaurant opened their second location early Monday (June 12).

The first location is located in Hermantown at 4897 Miller Trunk Highway #100. The second location is located in Canal Park in the old Famous Dave's location, at 355 South Lake Ave to be exact. They announced the second location late last year. Now, it has come to fruition.

We all know Canal Park is the perfect place for a restaurant like the Social House, as it will give tourists and locals a new place to eat breakfast or lunch while browsing the area and visiting town for a weekend.

For now, the new location will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a focus on breakfast and lunch. On Facebook, they shared with hungry customers that they may expand their hours in the future but for now, they want to focus on breakfast and lunch as they launch their new location.

The menu at the original Social House is delicious! They offer omelets, skillets, benedicts and breakfast classics like eggs, hash browns and toast. They also have lunch favorites like burgers, salads and sandwiches. I always get a burger and it always hits the spot!

As for what happened to Famous Dave's, which was previously in the location, they moved to Hermantown! They closed their doors in mid-October and opened again on Richard Avenue. Their new space is located near Sam's Club along with a bunch of other businesses.
