Police Chase Ends With Suspect Caught In Tipped Over Porta-Potty On Wisconsin Golf Course
Crime never pays, and sometimes it really stinks. A rather bizarre story comes out of Wisconsin where the criminals ended up in a tipped-over porta potty.
According to WTMJ-TV Milwaukee, A Dodge Durango was stolen out of Plymouth, Minnesota. Police officers noticed the vehicle driving erratically on Washington Road in Glendale, Wisconsin. Glendale is a suburb of Milwaukee.
Officers tried to deploy stop sticks, but the driver turned into oncoming traffic and caused a crash with two other vehicles. The suspects fled the vehicle. Officers pursued them, and one of them ran across a nearby golf course.
Squad cars could be seen driving across the fairway chasing after the suspects. A golfer, Adam Westermayer saw one of them enter a porta-potty to hide. He "made a rash decision to go push the porta-potty down." Officers then surrounded the tipped porta-potty and arrested the suspect. Two people were taken into custody.
Fortunately, no innocent people were seriously injured. The two people involved in the crash suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at local hospitals.
I can only imagine how disgusting the inside of the porta-potty would have been. Not to mention one of the poor police officers would have to transport the smelly suspect back to jail. Do you suppose they were covered in blue dye?
Golfers on the course had quite the way to end their golf season on a mild November Day. Luckily none of the golfers were injured during the bizarre chase.
