
New Covid Variant In Minnesota Has Unique New Symptom
There's been a lot of crud going around this year and it's been awhile since Covid has been at the forefront it seems.
Now, the World Health Organization is alerting everyone about a new variant of Covid-19 and there is one pretty bizarre symptom, if you could call it that.

Around this time last year, there was another wave of Covid-19 making its way through Minnesota.
Now, health officials are telling us to be vigilant about the new variant, named the NB.1.8.1 variant all across the country.

The good news is that the World Health Organization says that the public health risk with this new variant is low and it does not appear to lead to more severe illnesses like previous variants.
Symptoms Of The Newest Covid Variant Making The Rounds
Most of the symptoms of this new variant are pretty similar to others. These symptoms include a persistent and dry cough, and nasal congestion.

Two other symptoms include fatigue and exhaustion, more so than what you feel after a busy week. Other symptoms include fever, chills, a sore throat and muscle aches. However, this new variant has one unique symptom.

What separates this variant from the rest? It is very skilled at ducking some of our immune defenses, meaning it will be more transmissible than all of the previous strains, including the previous dominating strain.

The good news is, like I mentioned, this strain doesn't seem to be severe or more severe than the most recent variant. Stay safe out there!
