Help Needed To Identify Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Duluth Gas Station
An armed robbery occurred last weekend in Duluth and now the Duluth Police Department is reaching out to the public to help identify the suspect.
Authorities originally posted about the crime at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 12. They indicated that at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, Duluth Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of E 9th Street for a report of an armed robbery.
The armed robbery took place at the Cenex Short Stop, located at 1301 E 9th Street, and by the time officers arrived, the suspect had fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.
At 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, Duluth Police provided an update and asked for the public's help identifying the suspect, whose image had been captured during the armed robbery.
The two images below were released by authorities at that time.
Authorities noted that the individual in the photo is seen wearing a grey face/head covering, white t-shirt, grey zip-up jacket, white gloves, black pants, and black slip-on shoes.
They would like anyone who has any additional information about this crime, or who knows who the individual in the photo is, to call the Duluth Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit at (218)-730-5050 and reference ICR# 24019135.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting the keyword ‘DPDTIP’ and your tip information to the number 847411.
As is always the case with any incident such as this, the more people who get this information and see the photos, the better chance there is to catch this suspect before they attempt another such crime.
