This is pretty brave is you ask me! Up-and-coming country star Frank Ray will be doing as the Duluthians do before opening for Old Dominion at Amsoil Arena this Saturday (February 18th).

First up on the itinerary? Meeting with first responders from the area. This event will not be open to the public as he meets and greets with local law enforcement. He was a police officer for a decade before pursuing a career in country music.

After the fact, he will be in front of the Public Safety Building, located at 2030 North Arlington Avenue. He will be doing interviews with the public, raising awareness for mental health. If you want a chance to learn more about his efforts and meet the country star, you have a chance to do so beginning at noon.

His last stop will be at the Duluth Polar Plunge! He will be at the pre-plunge party at The Garden in Canal Park. He will indeed be jumping into the lake with Officer Jeremy O'Connor, who has been a frequent guest on the station in the weeks leading up to the Polar Plunge.

It is all for an amazing cause. The Polar Plunge will take place at 2 p.m. at Park Point. You can still register online and you can still donate to the cause if you can't attend! If you want to watch the action from your warm couch, you can do that as well! We will be live-streaming the fun on our website.

Last but not least, Frank Ray will cap off his busy day with a performance slot opening for Old Dominion at Amsoil Arena. Other openers include Kassi Ashton and Greylan James. The show kicks off at 6:30 p.m. See you there!
