For some background, locals spotted the production filming all over Duluth and beyond in May of this year. The film was shot at famous Northland places like OMC Smokehouse, the Duluth Depot and Dovetail Café and Marketplace.
At one point, producers even put out a casting call for locals to take part in a massive scene shot at Bayfront Festival Park. The scene was shot over the course of a few days and was set up to look like a holiday market.
Producers also turned the movie over pretty quickly, as the romantic comedy is set to premiere next month! The movie is a Hallmark Movies Now exclusive, which means it will film exclusively on the Hallmark Channel streaming network on Thursday, December 7th.
The film stars two famous actors: Rachael Leigh Cook and Sam Page. Cook has been in a ton of films and shows over the years, while Page is known best for his role on Grey's Anatomy. The movie is about a woman who gives up on Christmas and is set up on a blind date, who makes her realize how special the holiday is.
