Skyline Social & Games, located at 4894 Miller Trunk Highway in Duluth, is already to place to go for a wide variety of year-round fun.

Those looking for indoor fun like bowling, duckpin bowling, cribbage, or playing in the arcade will have plenty to do. Of course, there's even more fun to be had outside in the summer with volleyball, bean bags, and bocce ball. While there are a lot of options, Skyline Social & Games continues to grow.

Recently, they announced a new axe-throwing space that includes five throwing bays with projection games and targets. Of course, there's also full-service food & drinks from your axe-throwing coaches, all located in a private space with two large tables for additional seating near their two 80-inch TVs.

What makes their axe-throwing experience different from others you may have tried is that Skyline uses projected axe-throwing technology. That means players throw a real axe into digital screens that are projected onto the walls for targets and interactive games.

This technology allows them to provide plenty of games to choose from. Currently, there are six games available:

  • The classic Target
  • Zombie Assassin
  • Duck Hunter
  • Tic Tac Toe
  • Lineup-4
  • Bottle Axe

During the holidays, a variety of additional seasonal games will be available, including Merry Axe-mas.

Another cool thing is that all games are available in both easy and hard levels, so everyone can have fun, regardless of their axe-throwing experience.

Once you arrive, their axe-throwing coaches will guide you through the rules, details in the waiver, some throwing techniques, and the different game options.

However, it is important to note that axe throwing at Skyline is an adult-only zone so all throwers must be 18 years or older with close-toed shoes.
