There are few things in life I love more than cute baby animals or really any animals for that matter! I love them and when they are this cute, it's hard not to!

The Lake Superior Zoo just shared some amazing news: the zoo is now home to a new baby and you will want to get there immediately to see it in person. I know I will be going as soon as possible.

Earlier this year, I wrote about two cute new additions to the zoo: baby goats! Who doesn't love baby goats? In fact, they welcomed two pairs of baby goats.

Now, there are some even newer additions - and it is so sweet, I can't even handle it! Say hello to a brand new baby cotton-top tamarin. OBSESSED!

Lake Superior Zoo Welcomes Sweet New Addition - See A Pic!

Lake Superior Zoo staff shared this exciting news on Wednesday (November 5th). They welcomed a pair of critically endangered cotton-top tamarins. Mira and Dino welcomed this set of twins, but one of the twins has passed away.

The smaller twin died within the first twenty-four hours, which unfortunately is a common occurrence when it comes to tamarins. The surviving twin is doing great, bonding with its older siblings: Echo, Tango and Foxtrot.

How To See This Sweet New Addition To The Lake Superior Zoo

If you want to see the whole family of cotton-top tamarins, including the cute new addition, your best chance is between noon and two p.m. every day. The whole family is on a special schedule to ensure the health and wellbeing of the new baby.

Definitely plan ahead if you are going to the zoo and want to see the cutie so you go at the right time. As of now, it doesn't look like the baby has been given a name but I can't wait to find out what it is.
