It was a very profitable start to the week for someone who decided to purchase a Powerball ticket in Duluth for the drawing on Monday, March 4.

Going into Monday night, the Powerball jackpot had grown to an estimated $460 million, and while nobody won the big grand prize someone in the Duluth area did win $50,000, which is still amazing.

The winning Powerball numbers on March 4 were: 36-42-50-52-67 Powerball 26, and Power Play 2x.

To win $50,000 the winner would've matched 4 out of 5 white numbers while also matching the Powerball number. So close to winning the jackpot! The big question is, who is the lucky winner?

According to the Minnesota Lottery, the $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at the Kenwood Super One Foods store, located at 1316 W. Arrowhead.

Unless they decide to come forward publicly, we may never know. Regulation in is place in Minnesota to protect lottery winners who win over $10,000.

Big-money winners can become targets for scammers and fraud, so the Minnesota Lottery will not divulge their name unless they first agree to it.
