The first day of spring is fast approaching, so it's not too soon to start planning enjoy annual spring traditions throughout Minnesota.

Obviously, Easter, which falls on April 5 this year, is a big part of spring, so kids can look forward to decorating baskets, egg hunts, and even photo ops with the Easter Bunny.

In Duluth, Minnesota, one annual tradition that families look forward to is the EGG-stravaganza, which gives families a head start on celebrating the holiday, and organizers have announced official details for this year's event.

2026 Lake Superior Zoo EGG-Stravaganza Details Announced

The Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth has announced details for its 2026 EGG-stravaganza, which will take place the day before Easter at 7210 Fremont Street in Duluth.

The EGG-stravaganza is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, with a special hour reserved exclusively for Lake Superior Zoo Members from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Zoo.

Tickets, which are required for adults and children 3 and up, are currently on sale online and at the Lake Superior Zoo for the discounted rate of $15 in advance. Tickets on the day of the event will be $20. Lake Superior Zoo members receive free admission.
