It's Time To Get The Rose Garden Ready For Spring

Raise the Roses sounds like some kind of Parade you would watch on TV but the City Of Duluth Parks And Maintenance staff is looking for hard working people at the annual "Raising Of The Roses" in the Rose Garden on London Road.

Staff will be there to teach you the Minnesota way and offer tips for growing as you help make the Duluth landmark look good.Here's the schedule according to a press release from the city::

Tuesday, April 19 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday, April 23 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Individuals, families and all others interested in helping at the Rose Garden are encouraged to show up during the times listed above. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves (if possible) and to dress for the weather. Volunteers should look for City staff who will provide directions on how to "dig-in."
