Ice Skating In The Summer?

Yes! At the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center, you will want to take note of the times and who is involved.

There are two new times to skate at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center throughout the summer months. ONLY in Minnesota would there be open skate in the late spring and Summers months. That's what makes us unique. Make sure the kids are dressed warmly, even though it is somewhat cozy inside the building, once you get on the ice it is a little icy, no pun intended.

Pre-school and caregiver skate will begin on Tuesdays, starting on April 30th, from 9:15 -10:30a.m.

The open skate will be available every Sunday beginning May 5th, from 3 - 4:30p.m.

The open skate will not be available on June 9, July 21 and August 18. The cost of admission is $2 per person.

You are encouraged to bring your own skates because there are limited skates available at the Center and will be first come first serve. For more information, please call 730-4300
